Linda Langenberg-Curtiss

Unfortunately, Linda was forced to cancel this class for personal reasons. She would like to apologize to all who were interested in the class and hopes to return next year.

A Tender Moment, mother wolf with pup.

Basswood, 9” wide, 7.5” tall, 4” deep
Mostly done with hand tools but I use some power for sanding and detail. Power, using a micro grinder, is not required, just suggested.
The piece will be wood burned and painted.

Linda Langenberg Curtis brings over 30 years of carving and teaching experience to the classroom, primarily of North American mammals.
The Mother Wolf with pup meshes realism with a touch of stylization. Students will be provided with a good roughout and will carve the details using both hand tools and power carving equipment. If you’ve never used power equipment, this is an excellent opportunity to try it.  Although Linda will be using some power on this piece, it is not required and can be completed solely with hand tools.  Students will need a wood burner for texture and Linda will provide paint to finish the project. A list of necessary tools and supplies will be provided to students who enroll in this class.
